CASE STUDIES

Here are some of our success stories when we managed to amaze our clients.
A major UK electrical retailer started a software division to create a global mobile provisioning platform. Medius Technology helped define the software architecture behind this platform and provided resources to build its integration component. The company contributed to the product pricing strategy and took a major part in the first two deployments of the platform- at a US mobile operator and a global electrical brand based in the US.
When the parent company decided to sell off the software division, Medius Technologies was involved in the due diligence process and then successful landing of the product and people with the new owner.
A major European travel operator sought to create one contracting platform for its entire northern region. The new platform would enable the business to carry out negotiations with the suppliers, lower prices through high volume purchases and be more agile selling based on regional demand.
The project involved migrating from the on-premise integration platform to an Amazon AWS based solution. Medius Technology architected and designed the system solution using AWS native tools for integration, helped create fully automated CI/CD pipeline and provided code templates for the development team.
One of the UK’s best loved retail chains were introducing Omni Channel Ordering to allow a single view of a customer and their orders whether it be instore, online or over the telephone.
Medius Technology were asked to help with the data and canonical modelling issues the project were facing especially in regards, to the length of time it was taking to create logical and then the physical schemas for use within the integration platform. Medius was able to reduce the time taken to generate physical schemas down from on average a month, to 1 to 2 days by re-engineering the process and creating tooling to support it.
One of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming groups decided to revamp the technology stack. The new stack was expected to massively reduce the time to market of new features and products developed. This stack was expected to meet the ever-increasing performance demands of sports betting in a secure and scalable manner.
The project involved migrating from the on-premise integration platform to Amazon AWS based solution. Medius Technology architected and designed the API and micro-services ecosystem, hardened the security of the API Gateways and led the performance improvement initiatives of the gaming platform.
